Her transition from hanging upside down,
clinging still to the attachment,
assembling slime into blue, vibrant truth –
It will be seen as selfish.
She will feel guilty
her pod bursting with tears and salt.
If she doesn’t die,
if she can stretch fragile wings safely,
she may fly still.
